Greetings all,
I hope everyone is handling the isolation well. I've been keeping busy with a variety of projects and the scrolls for Arcane Scrollworks 4 are trucking along. Here's what I've been up to -
FABRICATE
The Fabricate scroll is done at last. Thanks for your patience on this one, I hit a bit of a creative roadblock and since I had plenty of other things to do for this campaign I just let it linger until my motivation returned.
I think I'm going to make one small tweak before sending it off to print. The faint lines projecting out from the circle need a little more detail - the are a little basic right now. Once I make that adjustment it will be off to the printer.
BACKERKIT
BackerKit is just about ready to roll out for this project. I just need to finalize shipping prices and I should be able to make surveys live next week. That's the hope. I'll admit I'm a little fearful USPS prices are about to change but I'll just have to take my chances.

Hello everyone,
I hope you have all been keeping safe and healthy. Things have been busy here at SKG HQ for the last few weeks. Let's take a look.
FABRICATE SCROLL
A totaly contrived action shot of me working on the Fabricate scroll.
Although not finished, the Fabricate scroll is well underway. Mostly it's just lettering and then I need to see if I can get a sample printed somewhere to test it out. I expect to have it finalized for the next update.

Hi all,
I hope everyone is keeping safe and staying busy. Although feeling isolated these days there is no shortage of work to be done. I've mostly been processing scrolls over the past week, ripping edges and weathering them, but I've gotten a solid amount of painting done as well.
Here are the finished scrolls by the numbers -

There's no reason I shouldn't keep cranking through these in the coming weeks. My goal is to hit a minimum of 275 of each design before shipping begins. The Fabricate scroll finally has a sketch I like and I should be showcasing that next week - thanks for being patient. Work on BackerKit will start soon as well so everyone can finalize their pledges in early May.

Post Campaign Week 6 - Starting the Scroll Count

Greeting all and thanks for your patience on this update.
Last week we received the print run on three different scrolls and production has begun.
Dozens of Arcane Eye scrolls drying after the weathering process. Once dry they will be finalized with paint and a custom stamp.
Each Kickstarter I do my best to keep everyone updated on how many scrolls I have been able to complete and that count starts today -

So, not a big amount of progress but there are many more in progress that are dry and ready for paint. The current goal is 300 of each scroll and I'll keep you all in the loop as the numbers increase.
Maggy over at Red Stick Studio is working away on the folios and progress is going well.
QUICK EDIT - I expect to have the BackerKit for this up and running in early May. I'm not rushing it because right now everyone is in lockdown and has better things to do with their money than pay shipping costs on something that will not be shipping for months.

Greetings backers, I know I missed a week so thanks for your patience on this update.
For the past few weeks SkeletonKey Games has been gearing up to attend GaryCon at the end of March, which is why scroll progress and news has been so slow in coming. Don't worry, this was all in our schedule. But, with GaryCon canceled, we will be shifting focus back to the 4th Level scrolls. I'm not quite sure what that means for our schedule, but it will only have a positive effect.
I have finalized the Faithful Hound scroll and should finally be moving onto designs for Fabricate.
This week I will be sending the first batch of scrolls to the printer so we can begin ripping the edges and weathering them. I will also get the stamps made up for the few scrolls that need them. In the coming weeks we will get BackerKit up and running for everyone to finalize their orders. I've decided not to rush BackerKit and the pre-order store as I know many people need to watch their expenses due to the effects of COVID-19. We will have it up in plenty of time for everyone to finalize their orders prior to shipping.
That said, we were prepared to launch a line of SkeletonKey Games and Arcane Scrollworks merchandise for the upcoming convention season and it looks like much of that isn't going to happen. So we are launching it this week in our online store.
Currently on offer are T-shirts, phone cases, mugs, and even art prints. Check out our website for more info. Are there any scrolls you want to see made into merch? We will be adding new items monthly.
