Latest Updates from Our Project:

Mage's Best Friend
about 4 years ago – Fri, Feb 07, 2020 at 09:01:56 PM

A big thanks to everyone that voted for the next spell in the series. It was a close race between Resilient Sphere and Faithful Hound. In the end, we will be adding Faithful Hound to the collection. We still have another backer-picked spell to vote on next week (Tuesday) and who knows what could happen... Maybe Dragon's Breath will get some traction?

I will be continuing work on Summon Greater Demon and have an update when the scroll is complete.

As an aside and total waste of your time, while I was tallying votes I started thinking about what the spells Resilient Hound and Faithful Sphere might do.  Then I started trying to come up with other spell mashups which led to Black Sanctum and Private Tentacles. At Private Tentacles I decided I should stop...

Have a great weekend!

Glyph of Warding Unlocked!
over 4 years ago – Tue, Feb 04, 2020 at 04:39:46 PM

Thanks to some new backers and the addition of the Scrollworks Folio, we have unlocked the Glyph of Warding stretch-scroll. Everyone backing at Wizard's Library or higher will now receive the Glyph of Warding as part of their pledge.

Next up is a Fourth Level Scroll Fragment which will unlock at $26,000. These fragments are perfect as clues, puzzle pieces, or quest items.

Thank you for the continued support and I will return tomorrow with another magical update!

Additional Necromancer's Libraries
over 4 years ago – Tue, Feb 04, 2020 at 09:20:10 AM

Hey all I'm back with two short bits of info.

First, we have opened up 25 more spots in the Necromancer's Library pledge level. The folks over at Red Stick Studio are busy sourcing the sheepskins for this project as we speak. Thank you all for jumping in and making the folios a success!

Second, I've said in a couple of places that today we would be voting on the next scroll but I was mistaken. When I checked my own graphic on the main campaign page it seems I'd listed tomorrow and I'm going to stick with that. Sorry for any confusion. So the plan will be to post the update and then go live on Facebook shortly after to work on the Summon Greater Demon scroll and show off the folio for anyone that wants to see it in action.

Two Weeks Left!

Backer Picked Scroll #2 Results and Wall of Fire Art.
over 4 years ago – Mon, Feb 03, 2020 at 07:33:55 PM

Hey all, I managed to wrap up the Wall of Fire scroll over the weekend. It's designed to be the left half of a diptych even though I was unsure if I would have a scroll that works thematically on the right.

The Wall of Fire is now part of each Wizard's Library and reward and can be selected as one of the options in the other levels.

Fortunately, I think we have a winner for the right half of the design.

Backer Picked Scroll #2 - Summon Greater Demon

Thank you all for voting! After the tiebreaker round of votes, Summon Greater Demon was the clear winner. I think this spell could be quite interesting as the other half of a diptych with Wall of Fire so I'm going to try it out when I start on the art tomorrow. I can already picture quite a bit of the design which is always a good sign going into the creative process.

I will be posting Wednesday to get your votes on the third backer picked scroll so be ready.

Pre-Order Dossier Decks

For those of you that may have missed our Dossier Deck campaign last year, you can pre-order the decks over at BackerKit right now. We will be locking in our production numbers with our manufacturer in a few weeks and expect to lock orders in early March.

Hope you had a great Monday! I'll be back this week with new art and a call for your votes.

Cheers - Ed
